grip panels

I'm pretty sure that I saw a pic of a Ruger here or elsewhere that had Hogue rubber grip panels but without the finger grooves. However, I don't see such grips on the Hogue web page. Were these once offered but now discontinued or am I just missing them?

I am not sure about Hogue, but I used to have a set of Uncle Mikes without finger grooves, and I am pretty sure Pachmere sells a set without finger grooves.
I think Pachmere has them for the P89 only. Pops
Legacy, if you go to the Photo Gallery here on the forum, you will find a post by yours truly, "Link to some of my Ruger wallpaper". It shows my P89 with modified Hogue's (finger grooves converted to panels). They came out VERY nicely.. if I do say so myself. This (as far as I know) is the only way you're going to get Hogue grip panels for the P-series.

That must be where I saw the pic. How did you get rid of the finger grooves?
legacy38, Would this be like what you're looking for? I put this old set of Uncle Mike grips back on my P85 because the Hogues just didn't feel right for me. These were discontinued but I think I heard there are similar grips by another company but not sure who.

Those look great bt! Wish you could remember who makes them now.
rman, been rackin' my old tired brain and looking at different sites and haven't come with anything yet. CantLeaveWellEnuffAlone did a very good job job on his Hogues but I'm not sure I could make a pair look that good. I've tried paring a few of the finger grooves on revolver grip and to be honest, my efforts were kinda pitiful[V]

That is exactly what I was looking for.
