I'm far from an expert on Ruger Single Actions even tho' I have a few. I have handled the Ruger .45 convertible and really like the feel of the simulated ivory "gunfighter" grips. They feel much better to me than the black grips that came on my blued flattop .44 Special. I also have some on my Single Ten and my Birds Head .45 ACPs (although different) and they feel good. Does anyone know if the simulated ivory grips on the Rugerstore website have the "gunfighter" contour? I would like to have a pair for my .44 Special. Did a search but didn't find what I needed. Thanks.

I'm glad you are enjoying your Rugers. They are pretty nice guns. I'm not sure of the conture of the Grips offered at Ruger. Why don't you call them & ask? I've called Ruger several times & have been treated well.

I'm getting gunfighter grips for my Single Six. They said they would fit no problem as long as you request the spacer from them for only about 2 dollars. Just call and ask them, they have no problem with it.
