Looks like an interesting site to be a part of. I have been reloading and working on guns for almost 50 years. Have owned most models of Ruger pistols and rifles at one time or another. Regularly shoot SP 101, GP100 and 1911s; and reload 9mm, 38 Spec., 357 Mag, & 45 ACP, 257 Robt., 6.5x55 Swede and 270 Win. Like to rebuild 1911's and tune up anything that shoots. Retired physicist.

RE: HOT loads

Lots of good info here. Retired physicist? Maybe we can get some ideas for some really HOT loads:D
I guess I have sort of gravitated to loads that are more of the comfort and accurate type (not too much kick and blast and lots of accuracy). After reaching that objective, I usually make the load as hot as possible by creeping up as close as possible.http://rugerforum.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
