Picked up my first handgun this evening: an LC9 at a very nice price. Figured that if I'm going to own one handgun, should be something that I can eventually carry.
As a noob, I'm humbled by the responsibility I feel re: owning a handgun but suspect that it's better than being cocky about it. I'm here to better understand these guns, how to shoot them, and how to enjoy gun ownership. And I can't believe the affinity people have for their Rugers so I feel like this is the right start.
During my research I've concluded that many gun owners seem positively tickled by the prospect of putting holes in people they've somehow dehumanized ("terrorists" and "zombies" etc). I'm not that guy.
