I'm a 39-year old guy from Dallas, Texas. I don't own a gun but I am a member of the NRA because I am interested in 2nd Amendment issues. I've often gone on dove hunts with my dad, who owns a couple of Beretta shotguns. I've joined the Ruger forum because I'm researching the economics of the firearms industry for a project that I eventually hope to publish somewhere. The project isn't specific to Ruger, but I was attracted to the forum because there seem to be a lot of people here with a deep knowledge of the industry. This is the post that originally caught my interest:
