Will camo tape be safe for a wrap or some type of product ,really like to hunt with my 357 and not worry about scratches while knocking down any glare. And easy to remove. Would appreciate any feedback

Check out the camo tape that bowhunters use. Most of it is advertised as leaving no residue. Can’t say if it would work for your particular situation, but it would be worth a try.

Just a thought. If you would use tape and have any residue when you removed it, you could use WD-40 to remove the residue. Put a fair amount on a soft rag and let it soak on the residue. Gently rub with the "wet" rag and it should lift right off. Work great for bumper sticker residue and other hard surfaces with sticky residue too.

I got my Wife a Henry Big Boy 357 for our 25th anniversary. Had it custom engraved.
She only shoots it at the range.
I tell her "It's just a gun. Use it".
