Built up a 10/22 for a co-worker a yr or so ago. He hid it away from the Mrs until a couple weeks ago. She attempted to take ownership but it was retrieved by means of an "I'll get you one" plea. Needless to say, the stock she chose arrived last week. Now decisions on barrel, etc gotta be made. Looks like probably a WP (need lt weight and visually attractive) Sad part is it's more of an "I want one 'cause you have one" more than having any actual interest in using it. Not my $$$.

Hey another rifle is always a good thing. Just hope it's not pink! That way even if she doesn't shoot it he can.

Quality over quantity! Not a pink one although I have seen pink ones that weren't bad. Actually had a project thought up that was based on a pink/black laminate that I do believe would've come out looking quite nice. Back toy our "another is always a good thing"... I was hoping to get one of my 3 in-progress builds done over the winter and now this might get in the way. Been putting them off all summer/fall.
