So, I currently have a SR9 that I just LOVE. I have been thinking about doing some CC classes or some type of comp shooting to get more comfortable with my weapon. I am also looking into doing some type of trigger work. Looking at the Galloway kit so I can adjust my trigger to suit myself. Been a mechanic all of my life, so as far as having the mind to do the trigger job; I don't see any trouble there.

So, advice / help is welcome...
1. Thoughts on comp training?
2. Thoughts on "trigger job"?

Thanks folks!!!

Welcome from NW Georgia. Training is generally a good thing IMO. For specific questions regarding advantages of a trigger job on that particular gun, try asking on the Pistol sub-forum.

Bubba ... Welcome from SW Ohio ... Glad to have you aboard!

You will likely get more ideas on your mods if you post your question in the Ruger pistol section :)

Welcome from Indiana. Glad to have you in the family. Congrats on the SR9. I agree with Neon Horse. Get some training and then after you shoot a while, decide whether you want/need any mods to the gun.

Good luck and have fun.
