I've always admired the toughness and durability of Rugers, especially their revolvers. I did acquire a used (I would say 'abused', but neglected would be a more apt term) Speed Six about a year and a half ago. Though it looked pretty bad on the outside, mechanically, it was in great shape.

I finally got around to working on the finish and now that I'm done, I love it even more. I put another post, with pics here.

Thanks! No, I didn't do any 'before' pictures. When will I ever learn - I forget to do that every single time!
