I will be ordering Hi Viz sights for my M&P Shield 380EZ and am looking for pros and cons about the colors. I read in the NRA magazine that eyes focus best on green/lime green sights. Do you find it best to have the rear sights the same color as the front sight or do you use a different color for rear? TIA

As far as fiber optics go, for me, green rear red front.

I put "no" but I'm really "no preference." If it is so dark that you can't distinguish front from rear on a gun the fiber optics aren't going to work anyway.

What works in a gun rag isn't gospel.
Myself I prefer no color on the rear sights unless it's the tritium vial which isn't visible in daylight.

Same with colors in general.
What works for one is terrible for another.
Take Sig X-ray3 sights, many really like them, I think they suck and have swapped them out on everything that has them.
Tried a TFO green and same thing, green doesn't stand out for me.
Red or Orange and I pick it up easy.

Red dots and it's opposite for me.
Red is barely usable and I see green better.
