New to the forum, been shooting Rugers since 1983. Started with a Super Blackhawk .44Mag. Great gun. My buddy got one of the first Redhawks when they came out. I'm not a hard core gun enthusiast, I can own one or two and go shooting a couple times a year and be happy.

I picked up a P94 around 1998 or so. It was a decent gun, but I guess that was during a legislative era when the mags only could hold 10 rounds? Because for such a big piece, it didn't have much capacity. I never enjoyed that gun as much. Sold it this summer.

Just bought an LC9 and an SR9. I like both of these guns for what they bring to the table. The LC has a smooth trigger pull, and I'm cool with it being really long because I am very safety conscious and I like it. The SR9 is awesome, so easy to hit the target accurately. I'm amazing myself with my shooting--it's the gun, it ain't me. And it holds 17 rounds, so that means its size comes with advantages.

I guess I have a few questions for the old hands here about holsters and loads, will ask in the proper forum. Just wanted to check in.
