Well, tomorrow I'll be hunting here in Arkansas. The Zone I am hunting whitetail in only allows shotgun slugs. So here's my Home Defense/ Whitetail / Turkey slayer...

And as a backup, my trusty P95DPR with 2 X 15 115gr Winchester SilverTip Hollow Points...[8D]

I use Remington Slugger 12 ga 2 3/4" 1560fps 1oz. rifled slugs... Dead On with POA out to 85 yards... the balistics say -4.8"@100 yards and -1.5"@ muzzle, with zero @ 35 yards...

Never shot a deer with slugs, but I'm sure they would be deadly at reasonable range. That's one heck of a slug. Good luck on your hunt!

Well, I saw a doe... That was it. The guy I went with got a 10 point @ 150 pounds... Maybe I can go again tomorrow and get me a 10 point!

Must be a bad year...too warm...I haven't known many to get one this year...
