I had an earlier post about my Bronco II running cold and most said I should check/replace the thermostat which I did. The old one was stuck open when I took it out.

Now I've always known warm engines run bette but my gas mileage went from 18-19 mpg to 24.85 mpg my last fill up. I also changed the vacuum sencor because I could hear that it was leaking. I wonder which caused the mileage improvement or if it was from both?

Keep in mind its only been one tankful of road driving.

Improvement from temperature . . . . definitely.

Improvement from no more vacuum leak . . . . probably.

Both together = happiness. :D
