...to start a stainless 10/22 carbine fund.

I was going to buy a 10/22 a few months back, but Ruger p***** me off (a slight problem with my P97 trigger/hammer, which I decided I'd just live with, since it's not dangerous and only slightly annoying) and I bought a Savage bolt instead.

The Savage is a great little gun, but it's not what I want -- my heart's still set on a stainless 10/22, so the new fund starts now.

Donations greedily accepted.

I have $52 in the fund now -- would have more but I bought a GPS, ammo, etc., etc. LOL

I don't think you'll regret buying a 10/22. They all aren't tack-drivers, but there are literally thousands of after market parts you can get to customize and accurize. Best of all, they are fun and inexpensive to shoot. Here's mine that my wife thinks I spent WAY too much money on, but she loves to shoot it.
