Just got back from shooting my new Kimber 84L in 30-06. It is SWEET!
Loaded up some Nosler 165 gr Partitions over some H4350. Started at 54 gr and went up to 56.5 gr in 1/2 grain increments. The 54 gr grouped well, then the groups started to open slightly as the charge increased. 56 grains gave me the biggest group and then surprisingly, the 56.5 load made one big hole with 5 shots.
I first handled some Kimbers at a gun show last spring and loved the look and feel. Started snooping about them online and read some disappointing reviews and opinions which kind of cooled my lust for them.
But there were a couple at a LGS and I couldn't help myself. I'm sure glad I went through with it.:)

Hi,
How much $$ did the Kimber set you back? I hear good reports but all also add that they are a little more expensive. Tnx

Price tag was dang close to $1200. Things usually are priced a bit higher north of the border. I'm not regretting the cost:)
