Just a little history first. Back in April I upgraded my MKIII Hunter with the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit and Bolt Tune-Up Kit. This gun ran like a clock. It would feed, eat and spit out the empty case with no issues. It would even run reliably using the dirty Remington Thunderbolt stuff.

Well this past weekend all this came to a screeching halt when the extractor broke. Monday I called Volquartsen to buy a new extractor. After I explained to the nice lady on the other end of the phone that it was a Volquartsen extractor that broke she immediately said "I'll send you one". Wow, I was impressed!

I received the new extractor Thursday. There were no charges not even for shipping! Of course I put it in the gun right away. I didn't get to the range yet but I'm ready to give this gun a good work out again.

Volquartsen, Thank you very much for replacing the extractor at no charge. :)

Range Update

Went to the range yesterday to give it a workout. Ran 175 rounds through it.
It's back to running like it was before the extractor broke. It eats everything! :D

I added some pictures so you can see where it broke.
