That cedar is a nice red shade. Looks good against the black grip. Does it have that cedar smell?

It doesn't have much of a smell because it is so dry. I bought one of those chainsaws on a stick to make it easier to prune the trees around my fence and this wood came out of a dead limb of a big cedar tree. It has probably been dead 20+ years and is very dry and hard. I riped another piece of it in half this afternoon and it has some nice grain in it.

That's is some impressive work there Reb. And the poor tree limb didn't die in vain.
