Have an LCR white front sight for .22 caliber on the way from Ruger and wondered if anyone has changed out the sights and the level of difficulty (if any) or is this a job for the smith???

Changed out the front sight on my LCR 357 and it was just a roll pin. Punched it out, put the new sight on, put the roll pin back in.

I don't have an LCR 22 so I can't guarantee it is the same, but guessing it probably is.

Good luck.

I never changed it out but when cleaning it one day the roll pin fell out. Called user and sent me 2 for free. While it was out the sight came off. Put it back on and put the roll pin back in.

I never changed it, but it seemed easy enough.

I do have a LCR357 and changed that one out, same thing - punch the roll pin out and replace it.

Sounds good gentleman. I do have a punch that will work. Will give it a go. THX

Installed the sight this morning; very straight forward. THX again for the input.
