I posted this a while back and can't find it. No one had an answer then, so I'll try again.

Anyone have a clue how to disassemble the crane/cylinder on an LCR?

I have the ejector and lock pin springs as part of my spare part stash, but have no idea how you get at them if the need arises. I would think it is good to disassemble and clean all this once in a while, too.

The forward latch under the barrel would be a pain, too. Obviously have to unscrew the barrel out of the frame to get at those springs.

Just looked at mine and if you look under the ejecter star there appears to be a small ring around the rod. It has some small grooves around it almost like a quarter. I would bet that the ring is pressed in to the cylinder.

After looking at the exploded view from the manual I'm not so sure now. It may be part #32 that is pressed on to part #40.

Ruger CS may be able to tell you seeing as how these parts don't have to be factory fitted.

I'm betting that #32 screws directly onto #13, since they operate as a unit.
