I ordered a spare boot grip for my replacement LCR-22 last week, and it's backordered until October 30 at the Ruger Store. Midway is carrying them also, and they are out of stock, too. A little cheaper but with higher shipping, okay if you order several items.
With well over 100,000 LCRs out there, I guess the boot grip is a hot item. The Crimson Trace grips usually get comments about being too hard for the recoil involved in the .38 and .357 models.
I keep the boot grips on both of mine, as their purpose is for CCW.
