While cleaning my .38 LCR I removed the grip sleeve to check the trigger spring for any wear.
Well somehow the screw holding the grip on went away to the land of tiny springs. and is nowhere to be found.
Sent Ruger an e mail asking for a new one but wondered if it is a common type screw that I can pick up at the local hardware store.
Anyone have info on that possibility?
Thanks

I've bought extra screws for my LCR grips, and thought it would be handy to post sizes for everyone.

Tamer grip; 8-32 X 1/2 machine head screw

Boot grip: 8-32 X 1/4 oval head screw

Thanks for the tip on the size.

Today I received a new grip screw from Ruger.
And---while opening the envelope on my bench I discovered the one I thought was lost! It had slipped into a small open section.
Now if all my tiny lost springs would magically appear it would be great.
They were lost before I started to disassemble things with springs in a zip lock bag.
