Okay to store mags loaded or better to keep empty?

I keep a loaded one in and have a loaded spare never really had any problems. Bx10's In 15 ish years maybe 3 ftf but with 22 pretty normal. Believe they thunderbolts.

I keep mine loaded. That are on my tri-mag coupler. The single one in the rifle no. Because it's illegal to have a loaded long gun in a vehicle in Pa. I think it's because of potental to poach.

I keep most magazines loaded - including the standard 10-22 rotary / factory mags. No issues to speak of.

BTW, the arguments for and against keeping mags loaded and the potential damage doing so may cause to magazine springs have been around a long time. Several such threads have appeared on this forum.

This article on the topic, though from 2014, still holds true.
