Still learning here, don't even know if this is right box to type in. Want to know if it is okay to shoot 38 specials in my GP 100?? Also can I buy custom hammer with larger thum piece and wider trigger.

If your revolver is a 357 magnum, yes, you can shoot 38 special in it,

Need info for new GP 100

New user here, just purchased GP 100
Can I shoot 38 specials in it.
Is there a place or vendor to purchase hammer with larger thumb piece??
Also purchase wider trigger??

When I carry a .357 4" I start with .38+P rounds and have two reloads, either strips or speed loaders with magnums. If I carry my snubnose 101, I only use +P ammo, but I always carry at least two reloads.

If I'm shooting .38s out of my 4"ers I'll burn off a few rounds of magnum to hopefully clear out the debris.
