Low and rear Pic rail mounted scope overhangs the charging handle on 556 MPR
I have a Leapers UTG BugBuster 3-9x32mm on my MP 15-22 using Leapers stock QD low mount rings and would like to mount it on my new 556 MPR (8514).
The problem is that in order to have a comfortable cheek and eye relief w this scope, I have to mount it low in the very back of the Pic rail and that causes the scope to overhang the stock charging handle.
I did some research and found that the BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle could be a solution for this problem, and hoping that someone on the forum has experience w the BCM and a scope that overhangs the charging handle.
Another possible solution is a higher mount, however I tried them on the MP 15-22 and never found that sweet spot that I have w the low mount, but I'm open to suggestions that I may have overlooked.
