Never had a Ruger before. Within weeks purchased an LVT 1234 and an LC9s Pro. Couldn't be happier with Ruger and their exemplary CS. A friend purchased my PF-9 and is looking for a lower priced companion for the range. Same caliber, longer radius, less recoil, more manageable trigger. Not too familiar w/the RAP, SV, SW, etc. I use an XDm 5.25 which I can do wonders with but it was a lot of money. I want to recommend a Ruger to him. What do you recommend I recommend to him? New please. We both thank you.

SR9, wel thought of, matches the ergos of my SR45 which I personally like a lot. It can be had very resonably as the SR9E (loose some bells and whistles, simple box, 1 mag I think). They are selling for under $400 all over this area.

The 9E is a great budget priced pistol. I have 1900 rounds through mine and it has been flawless.
