I have 7mm mag that I love and shoots great but the trigger..... It breaks over nice when you get it past the creep. I have a timney in my remington and is set at about 2.5 for varmint. Should i plan on the same for my 7mag or can this trigger be worked over?

Not with the intent to be belittling, if you have to ASK whether a trigger can be "worked-over" or not; don't touch it, take it somewhere.

I made my current Hawkeye's LC6 trigger, WORLDS better than the steaming pile it was shipped as. Eventually I went with a Timney, but they aren't a simple "drop-in" on the hawkeye. Took about 3 hours worth of fitting for the safety to be proper.

The reason I asked was my father had one and he had it worked. Somehow I don't know. I've done a few of the timneys and for be cost I can't believe someone could work on a factory trigger and have it done better, if you catch my drift. Thanks.
