Thanks guys... I am taking it out next Saturday to meet the Ozarks backwoods... And I'll be taking my NM Blackhawk .357 on my side as my backup... I've seen the movie Deliverance... Hopefuly we'll see a big ol' 12 point Buck and not some haggled tooth hillbillies...
Given the potfields and methlabs in the woods, I'd carry my rifle-a holster gun, and a hi-cap pistol concealed w/clips-if you run into a 2-legged squirrel or two-it might get long-winded-that P95 don't weigh much..............
The only trouble with taking a new rifle in the field is it comes out all dinged and scratched up. Or mine always did. I get into the hunt and forget all about the rifle until I am back at the truck or at home. I always figured that's what I bought it for. They sure look good when they are all new and shinney.
