I saw this guy Monday evening but couldnt get a shot at him. Tuesday morning he jumps the fence 25 yards from my stand and stands there. If I would have had a pistol with me I could have used it to take him but all I had was a 308. He field dressed out to 130 lbs. 8 points.

Thought about having it mounted, if it would have been a couple inches taller Momma would have lost the argument. It is one of the best deer I have taken. And yes I took it to have it processed, I used to process my own but have been gettin' lazy here lately. Summer sausage, jerky meat, ground venison, and the backstraps. MMMMMboy! can't wait!

This is my Oklahoma Buck from 05, measured 134 6/8 net just missed out states Cy Curtis award, I think the broken brow tine cost me the award, dang it. He weighed 176# dressed.
