Hello all.... this is my first post here.... hope I don't screw up!

For several years now I've shot a Ruger 22/45 MKIII with a Volq kit in an indoor NRA Bullseye League. I'm long in the tooth, and only shooting 250 with irons, but I love the game. I also love my little pistol, which seems to feed all the ammo I can find for it (except match ammo, it doesn't like that!) and until now the little gun functioned flawlessly, and I had the fewest alibis on the line. But just a few days ago, I started having trouble feeding the first round of a new magazine. It seems like the magazine is too high, and the bolt hits against the rear of it. Is this possible? I have three mags and it seems to happen with all of them. If I close the bolt first, insert the mag, and then slingshot the first round into it, it seem to work better.... Suggestions? And thanks in advance.....
