We have a place here in GA somewhere where you can pay to drive a tank. Extra to run over a junk car. I still would really like to do that.

Man ran over by 1944 M-5 Tank.

"Emergency crews were called to the scene, but the 55-year-old man was soon pronounced dead."

Was that after they found enough of him to be sure?

What a way to go.

Would not surprise me at all if there are folks who decide this is evidence that no one should be allowed to own a "military style" vehicle.

It would be doubly sad if the deceased was previously involved in Independence Day celebrations.

Some people just don't seem to realize that you don't fool around on vehicles with tracks. They don't forgive stupid.

Ouch, unfortunate that it is real life and not a Rocky and Bullwinkle.

What's a M-5 tank? The Sherman was M-4, I think, and the M-3 had two versions, the bigger Grant and the light Stuart, called a Honey in Commonwealth use.
