Have a ringed barrel from shooting a squib load out (unknowingly) some yrs. ago. Ruger told me several yrs. ago they don't replace barrels. Is it worth it to find someone who does rebarreling. I heard it is a pressed not threaded fit. Still shoots quite accurately after cleaning takes 5 or 6 shots to foul and start shooting accurately. afish4570

Seems listed price of $150 for new barrel plus postage coming ad going would put costs over $200. Gun is 47 yrsl old, bluing worn not worth costs considering it shoots better than the average shooter is capable of. Will leave alone and use as a truck and camp gun. afish4570
