Fun trip to the range this morning. Had one problem with the Barska, lost the red dot and had turn it to another intensity to get the dot back. I hope this is not a short or something. Anyway 20 rounds fairly fast, I always have a problem with the first shot. After that I'm OK. 10 yards on the target.

I bought the big VQ target grip but it was too big for me and I thought it was going to be too much for the girls so I changed it out today.

On the red dot, be sure the battery cover is on tight and also that you are on a brightness setting and not in between. Also, that red dot can disappear in a hurry under bright conditions. I can usually see my red dots in the house on a #1 or 2 setting, but may have to go up to an #8 in bright sunlight. If that dot disappears on you on it's own, though, not worth messing with a repair. I'd just take it back and exchange it for a new one.

Nice work on that target.
