Hi I thought you would like to see my first muntjac I've shot since I've started reloading for my 22/250, I went out this evening I hadn't seen anything until I saw a pair of bullfinches then something cought my attention it was a young muntjac Buck both my cockers and me just froze, the deer stopped for a few seconds but that was just long enough I hit it low in the chest it ran on so I waited a few minutes the sent my dogs out after a while the white one came back with blood on his face and foot so I followed him and found the buck I can't wait for the weekend as its my birthday and we're having muntjac ribs thanx for reading this Bazil

A muntjac is our smallest deer and a pleasure to hunt, I've been promised a Chinese water deer buck for my birthday the CWD is such an old species that the buck don't have antlers just very long tusks I can't wait Bazil
