You'll absolutely love the 92 action. It was my rifle of choice for SASS shooting and over time I have put a number of rounds through my 92 without a hitch. Best of luck to you and your new acquisition. Smithy.

I put a few rounds of 38 Special through it yesterday afternoon. It's an absolute blast to shoot. The rear sight came a bit loose after about 50 rounds so that will need some attention.

Target from 25 yards.

The rear sight. I hope to replace this with a normal sight without the flip up elevation part. It has a really sloppy fit in the dovetail and is held in place with a screw.

Nice looking firearm. Not bad shooting either.

Looks as though the factory rear sight from my 10/22 will fit the dovetail perfect.

That way it will be part Ruger too :D

Wow nice nice Model 92, especially without the darn safety Rossi puts one on all of their Model 92's now! Like the sights thanks for sharing!
