I've been a long-time fan of the 2.25" to 3" barrel on 38/357 revolvers, and in particular the S&W Model 65LS Ladysmith. Also being a fan of 45ACP revolvers I like the concept of pistol cartridge revolvers using moon clips, and over the years I've picked up a few Ruger double-actions that meet those criteria. For your viewing pleasure I present:
3" GP100, "Half-Lug" 357 Magnum:
3" GP100 "Clapp", 357 Magnum (one of two I bought in a feeding frenzy; this one I kept):
2.75" Speed Six, 9mm:
2.25" SP101, 9mm; one of two (my 87-yr-old mother has the twin as her "house" gun):
Not fitting the above criteria, but also included is this 4.2" RH in 45 Colt:
