Greetings. I am in the process of looking at 2 revolvers from a private seller. Ruger Blackhawk: Several years ago this revolver (44 Special Blackhawk)
first came out and was pretty popular and as I recall fairly expensive.
Is this revolvr still trendy and what would one in NIB price out?

Ruger 32 SSM in either 4 5/8" or 5", Stainless. 32 Mag: Same question as above but in 4 5/8" w/Birdseye Grip panels, NIB.

Many thanks for your input. I realize prices will vary in price from locale to
locale as well as gun stores. In a small town like I live in it would be a wild
SWAG as there is olny one shop as such as it is. :)

Local private sellers are high as well the Blue Book prices being in between.

The best way to start the valuation process is to look at the many on-line auction sites. Guns for Sale - Online Gun Auction - Buy Guns at GunBroker.com is a good start. Make sure to ascertain what the ACTUAL selling price was , versus the "buy it now", or "starting at" price. It is similar to getting "comps" on real estate.

At the end of the day, they are only worth what you are willing to pay for them.

Good luck. Let us know how you do.
