It will also quiet the action, save wear/tear.
There are several to choose from,
and simple to install. I prefer the KIDD.

Buffer is nice but it doesn't affect the way the firearm functions....Do something with that trigger group.....then maybe either swap out the barrel or get someone like Que to rework it a bit.....
