Got one today in the 5 1/2" target with black laminate grips. Swabbed out the barrel and took it to the range. Bought some bulk Remington ammunition and the first round jammed. After that cycling was perfect for about 180 rounds when one of the rounds squibbed and the bolt wouldn't open. Finished the range session with my S&W 625JM, an N frame .45 acp revolver.

Got home and tapped the squib out. I decided to take the pistol down for cleaning. Was ready for the worst having read lots of posts here about how hard it can be to take apart and put together these pistols. I watched the Ruger videos and followed the instructions exactly. I couldn't believe how easily this pistol came apart and went back together! Nothing took more than two light taps.

It's been over 30 years since I've fired a .22 so I'd forgotten how much cheap fun they are!
