Now...n' I mentioned this elsewhere...if we can just get them to make a small, baby "carbine" in some different calibers...kinda like the International or 1-A..in, maybe, 44-40, 32-20, 25-35 etc...

I had a .45-70 years ago...it was fun..got traded off fer' a lever, tho'...also had a .458 ( No, I had no use for THAT, either...but...a guy just had to have a Smith 39 that I had n' didn't need, and all he had to trade was the number 1...) which I...and guys on my shift...actually shot! Now, that was 25 years ago, and we all felt that the recoil was not the most comfortable, so IT got traded........

Single action-single shot-long barrel? I remember seeing it in a catalog when I was in my teens-60's-but I haven't seen/heard about it since-when did they drop it?
