Just swapped out my FireSwitch mag release on my Project Appleseed rifle for an extended NDZ mag release. This has got to be one of the best fitting mag releases I have ever used on any of my 10/22's

I love the forward and rearward release of the FireSwitch, but dropped a mag mid string by bumping it with my forearm which caused me to not get 5 shots off in the allotted time and i didn't get my patch. Scored a 206 that round and needed 210.

I put the mag release in mine too. I tend to bump it too. And the mag drops before im ready for it. I also did the bolt release upgrade too.

That upgraded "Mans Best Friend" looks like a sweet shooting 10/22!
Good luck with Project Appleseed rifle in Post #1. I am considering going that route next. Just thinking...

With the different mag release and thinner material sling, I should have better results at the next event I attended
