Picked this up this morning at my local gunshop. 1250.00 out the door. Went out on the back porch and fired a few rounds. It works fine although the trigger pull is a little heavy.
You know, it was kinda rough on my shoulder. Of course my being 75 years old probably didn't help any.Beautiful Shooter ...... I would take one if the dang thing wouldn't kick hard as a mule ... LOL 😂
Don't think I would attempt the 10 guage. My 12 gauge guns are plenty for me. In fact the 12 guage with slugs or 00 buckshot is about the same as this 45-70.@sharpblade ... My brother won a single shot Stevens in a 10 gauge one time ....... That's It .... One Time !!!!! LMFAO 🤣😆 ... That S.O.B .... Broke my glasses in half ... Knocked me over and twisted my wrist so bad that I couldn't use it for a few days .... Sorry for the side track on your thread

Bingo...that's where I'm at...if not in .454 Casull and that'd shoot a .45 Colt as well!Now if only they'll start making 1894's in .45 Colt.
