Hello. I thought I would kinda' introduce myself....

After recently adding a Mark III Hunter to my collection of firearms, I thought I would see what kind of message boards I could find, as the Mark III seems to be a really popular plinker.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting and learning about my new toy.
Any suggestions, or "must haves" I need for it right away ?

Thanks,
Woody

Welcome Aboard!!! Glad you decided to join us. Make yourself at home. I just ordered a Mark111 hunter with the 4 1/2" barrel, but haven't got it yet. You are at a good place to learn lots about any of the Ruger Guns.

Welcome Woody from down in the swamps. That Hunter is a fine pistol and your grandkids are going to thank you for buying it one day. I got a standard or Mark I and it is 30yrs old and I taught my kids to shoot and now I am working on Grandkids. Good shooting.

Welcome to our forum! I have a MarkI from '76 and it's still great. Also have two MarkII's, one in Nev. and one here in the People's Republik of NJ. They are all good.
