Hi everyone. Been shooting 42 years, reloading almost as long. When I was 15, I saved up and bought 2 M77 Rugers, a .270 and a .300 Win. Mag. When I joined the Army 2 years later, I took the .300 Mag to my first duty station, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. I also took a Ruger #3 .45-70 and my Super Blackhawk. I had both of them Armaloy plated and the barrels shortened. I guess I've always liked Rugers. I've bought a Gunsite Scout and a used P345 recently. I have 3 .45 autos at present but keeping my eye open for a shorter ( 5 1/2") Redhawk or possibly a Bisley .45 Colt, since I live and hunt in grizz country. Seems like a great forum full of friendly people, glad to be a member.
