Looking at acquiring a relatively new Blackhawk 45 convertible from a fellow range member. Never owned a single action. Know the normal check list for considering a used revolver but all additional thoughts welcomed.
Howdy dmccorki, welcome from Louisiana. Used Ruger single actions are easy to check out. End play, timing and condition. Since it's from a range member, you should have no problem with a teest drive, and if it passes the click bang test and you like it - buy it. Then you can tell us all about it and show pictures too!
