hey folks !
re visited a old build at home last evening, volquartsen mach 2 barrel,,,,i rebuilt the trigger group, sweet,,,installing bolt in reciever ( new type that the bolt handle is screw in to bolt,,vs old style that had the separate handle / carrier,,,any way bolt installed and click, oh ,,, the guide rod with the spring wrapped around it slipped out of dentent hole at rear of reciever, bolt is fully forward and end of guide is up against reciver,,,,no way bolt is lifting out and no way rod is bending enough to allow bolt reaward movement. only fix i see is cut guide rod with plasma cutter ( confident nothing else will burn inside )

happen to you before, thoughts,

this is a old build,,also had alot of trouble with mach 2 feeding in factory clip,,thoughts

So the guide rod slippd back and its point is against the rear wall of the receiver? How about rigging something with a dimple to seat the point, to push the rod forward and then into place?
