Went to the range today and tried a new to me reloading arrangement. The ammo is a 158 grain Semi-wadcutter coated from Steel Valley Casting, New Brighton, PA. Used 8 grains Unique and Federal Small Pistol Primers. The targets were at 20 yards and outdoors. I used my Dan Wesson 15-2 with the 4" barrel. I feel very good about this load. Moderate recoil but people around me wanted to know what I was shooting. Will definitely be loading a lot more of this. Also shot the Rossi 62SA 22 pump and the Ruger Mark I with Target barrel. All in all a great afternoon.
