Today was a good day. I placed my order at my LGS for the 10/22 Talo Tactical
Model 1296. I doubt I'll get to bring it home for 2 months unless I can pay it off sooner. Should be a fun project to go along with my Charger. I'll start off with my TRS 25 Red Dot and go from there. Maybe order a BX trigger.

something to look forward too

I think its the folding mechanism. Would be nice if Ruger had multiple views of this one.
I,m excited. They have been out of stock for a month or so. I called Grab A Gun yesterday
and they confirmed Ruger Shipped 70 this week to a warehouse or distributor

I've been waiting for this to come back in stock for a couple months. Just checked Grab a Gun website and ordered one this evening. Thanks for your post OP.

I'm excited to get it. I'll need to find some type case for it. I cant seem to find any dimensions of the folded rifle. Spec's say 36" overall
I want something more compact

Uh Oh, I like that Tactical one, folding 6 position stock, plenty of small rails. Any day shopping for guns is a good day. The 2 months waiting seems like a year.

Just received mine tonight. Folding stock is a nice touch. Picatinny rail on three sides of the barrel. Six position buttstock. Will confirm overall length if interested.

Come on now, you cant tease a fellow Texan, Post some pictures, And yes measure the folded length. I need to be scouting for a bag. I probably wont see mine for 2-3 weeks. How is magazine fit in the mag well? snug? sloppy?

just kidding... i got a stainless TD 10/22... it is residing in a backpacker stock...

but congrats on a nice 10/22... that is really, really nice...

Thank you for all this info. Great pics as well. I should have mine in a few weeks. Start looking at bags now with the dimensions. I'm excited to see yours,
I know its gonna be fun

Right now Academy has the Remington Golden's 525 Bulk for 24$ till Feb 5th.
Walmart has the same. These work very well in my Charger. I need to stock up

Let us know how it performs

Congrats Dave. FWIW, I ordered mine from Grab a Gun. Took 8 days to get it from the time I ordered to when I picked up from my FFL.
Thanks for the heads up on the ammo. Might have to check that out tomorrow. I’m near Tomball if you are ever in the area.
Would
Like to hear what you decide on for the bag or case.

The New 10/22 came in, and wow. Is it cool or what?
Taking it to the range tomorrow.
Got a nice Ruger case for it on Amazon.
Only things I did to the new gun is add the forward grip to the pic, Mounted the Bushnell TRS25 Red Dot.
Added the Voltquartsen bolt release. Checked the trigger pull and its right at 6 pounds.
I have another trigger setup that has a 2.5 #. I'm not rushing into. Im sure the stock setup is good enough for me.

Should be fun
