Or RIT dye.

I used a $7 bottle of black RIT dye and dyed the frame black. Used a pot of water on the stove brought just to boil then turned down to simmer. Added dye and stripped frame (you can leave mag release and release spring in place, no need to remove) to water for about 40 minutes turning/flipping frame about every 10 minutes. It first turns a dark plumb purple, but left long enough gets black. Rinse thoroughly with cold water when done.

My dealer tells me the reason the Raspberry ones are so cheap is they were FREE to certain large stocking dealers.

I swung by the New GM in Chesterfield MO about noon today and they were all out of them, so was the Fenton location.

I already own one, but at this price I would buy another for either my wife or teenage son to shoot.

I bought mine a few months back on sale at Cabelas and after using a $20 off Club coupon it was like $279, plus I got an additional $30 in rewards when purchased to use on a later purchase. Basically like getting it for $249.
