Nice, I have a few sets of their bonded ivory for a couple different revolvers and they all look and feel great.

Too weird,,,, sounds like a mistake .
Try giving Altamont a call , bet they will send you a set and you can trim the screw to fit .

The bonded Ivory grips give your Single Seven a Doc Holliday-ish look....awesome. The Single Seven Birdsheads are lookers, no matter how you dress them up. Here's mine with a set of grips Chad at Chig's Grips made for me.

Oh, my bad.
yes, there are escutcheons are in the recessed hole.
Cool, just did not look like it in the pictures and I cannot imagine Altamont slipping like that.
Now, Go choot it . :)

P.S. I got some bonded Ivory 1911 grips from them and they were a tad glossy for my taste .
I touched them lightly with a grey scuff pad and let them sit in wet coffee grounds for a while.
Aged them in a interesting way.
But maybe not for everyone.
