hi everyone, i picked up a ruger 10/22 a few months back. ive been to range twice now and fired around 1000 rounds altogether. the first time i went my sights seemed to be centered. i came home cleaned my rifle to the best of my knowledge, and took it back to the range a few weeks later. the second time i went shooting it seemed that i shot to the right maybe about 5 inches off center to where i was pointing at.. i tried to center it by adjusting the rear sight as it moves to the right and left. any tips on how to center a rifle for a beginner?

If it's shooting right you move the rear sight to the left. In other words, move the rear sight in the direction you want the shot to move on the target. Hope this helps and good luck.
